I've had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects throughout my career.
While at the Design/Build firm formerly known as Fisher & Sons, I specialized in
Cold Storage, Industrial, and Food Processing projects.
These projects were not only located in Washington, Oregon but also in Idaho & California.
(Being a member of NCARB allows me to get licensed in other states when necessary.)
My first major project was a three-story medical building in the Skagit Valley,
which led to additional work, including a pharmacy remodel due to the client’s satisfaction.
I also contributed to a new law office in Sedro Wolley, WA
and an assisted living facility on Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands.
I was the project Architect on many projects including a new pharmacy and office in Oak Harbor, WA and a remodel of the processing area and an office addition in Ferndale, WA.

Section through Office Addition
Both of the structural steel additions presented challenges because of the connections to the existing metal building structure.
Added snow load from the office addition on to the existing building also had to be taken into consideration. Two different bays of existing bracing had to be relocated to work with the new layout.
